NFA vs full-access Steam accounts

The practical differences between restricted account access and full ownership credentials.

Access control

NFA access does not provide ownership of the original email account. Full access generally includes the credentials needed to control the account and its email, subject to the seller's exact listing.

Recovery risk

NFA carries greater recovery risk because important recovery channels remain outside the buyer's control.

Price

NFA accounts are normally less expensive because the buyer receives fewer ownership rights and recovery controls.

Which is suitable

Choose only after understanding the limitations. A lower price should not be mistaken for equivalent ownership.
